#NewYearNewMovesChallenge: Protecting Time for Exercise

Byte Wellness Family!

We started the year with a habit-building bang! If you’re on our Daily Wellness Text thread, you’re already participating in our New Year New Moves Challenge and getting one step closer to achieving your workout goals!

If you haven’t yet signed up for the challenge, now’s your chance. Text 2022 to 1(224)302-6224 to join the challenge and get daily text reminders to exercise.

How to Exercise More in 2022

All you have to do to come out on top in this challenge is do at least 1 minute of working out every day from January 2nd to January 29th. We’re purposely setting our sights on a seemingly easy task, in order to focus on the 4 most important tasks of building an exercise habit.

The first task we need to master in order to build the sort of lasting exercise habits that can be life-saving? Figure out how to reserve protected time for exercise.

When you have a moment, you can watch the video below to learn how to carve out “protected time”. (Maybe watch it while you exercise?)

Before we get to that, take a swing at our week’s discussion question. Try to answer with honesty and depth.

This Week’s Discussion Questions:

  • Did you log your first day of our movement challenge yesterday? What makes it easier or harder to do your 1 minute of exercise every day?

How to Protect Your Exercise Time

Comment below which parts of that resonated with you. See references in the caption of video in You Tube.

Until next week…

Happy Healthy Living,
