Which Cancer Screenings Should I Get? [Video]

Hi Byte Wellness Family!

How’s your winter so far? Not too cold, I hope…unless you like that sort of thing. I’m a summer baby, myself. In the Daily Wellness Text Chat this week, we dug into cancer screenings: Which do you need, and when do you need them? Before we do that, let’s ponder our discussion questions:

This Week’s Discussion Questions:

  • Most of us have had a loved one with cancer. Who's your person? Is it you?

  • How did they/you discover it?

How did the person find out they had cancer? Did they discover it in a regularly planned cancer screening? Did they discover it “incidentally” while a doctor was helping them evaluate a different problem or different symptoms?

Or, was the cancer discovered after death? How could discovering the cancer in a regularly scheduled cancer screening shift the person’s experience with cancer and their quality of life?

Okay, every #ByteWellnessWednesday, the Chat members text their questions, and I send a video response. Here’s our video explaining the cancer screenings women should ask their doctors about:
